Black and Gold Crochet Booties


These black and gold baby shoes are perfect for your little diva. They have gold sequence on the bow and buttons on the side to open and close. Perhaps you are looking to add some more sparkle to her Black and Gold Outfit, or you just want to add some cute black and gold princess baby shoes to her wardrobe for a special photo shoot, these are the black and gold baby shoes for you!!

Materials: 1 Skein Black Yarn (I used Charity Double Knit) 2 Black buttons (1cm)

Crochet Hook (Size 3.75mm for 3-6 Months) (3.5mm for 0-3 Months)

Fabric Glue

Gold Sequince

Scissors Tapestry Needle Abbreviations: Magic Ring Ch = Chain SC = Single Crochet SC Decrease = Single Crochet Decrease HDC = Half Double Crochet DC = Double Crochet SL ST = Slip Stitch

Round 1: Ch11, Crochet 2 HDC into the second chain from your hook. Crochet 1 HDC into the next 8 chains. Crochet 6 HDC into the last chain. Crochet 1 HDC into the next 8 stitches. Crochet 2 Half Double Crochets into the last stitch. (26)

Round 2: Start crocheting in the first stitch from the previous round. Crochet 2 HDC in the next 2 stitches. Crochet 1 HDC into the next 8 stitches. Crochet 2 DC in the next 6 stitches. Crochet 1 HDC into the next 8 stitches. Crochet 2 HDC in the next 2 stitches. (36)

Round 3: Start crocheting in the first stitch from the previous round. Crochet 1 HDC in the next 2 stitches. Crochet 2 HDC in the next 3 stitches. Crochet 1 HDC in the next 5 stitches. Crochet 1 DC in the next 3 stitches. *Crochet 2 DC in the next stitch. Crochet 1 DC in the next stitch. Repeat from the * 6 times. Crochet 1 DC in the next 3 stitches. Crochet 1 HDC in the next 5 stitches. Crochet 2 HDC in the next 2 stitches. Crochet 1 HDC and 1 SC in the next stitch. SL ST into the first stitch of this round. (48) Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.

Round 4: Attach your yarn right in the middle of the heel. Chain 1, 1 SC in back loops only in the next 48 stitches. join

Round 5-6: 1 Ch1, SC in every stitch all around. join (48)

Round 7: Ch1, 1 SC in the next 14 stitches. *1 SC Decrease,1 SC*. Repeat from the * 7 times. 1 SC in the next 13 stitches. join (41)

Round 8: Ch1, 1 SC in the first stitch. 1 SC Decrease. Crochet 1 SC in the next 10 stitches. *1 SC Decrease, 1 SC * Repeat from the * 5 times. 1 SC in the next 10 stitches. 1 SC Decrease. 1 SC join (34)

Round 9: Ch1, 1 SC in the next 11stitches. 2 HDC Decreases. 2 DC Decreases. 2 HDC Decreases. 1 SC in the next 11 stitches. join (28)

Round 10: Ch1, 1 SC in every stitch all around. join(28)

Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.

Buckle

Join yarn 7 stitches from the centre, Ch1, 1 HDC in the next 14, Ch17, SL ST in 5th from hook, 1 SC in each of the stitches along the buckle, Join to previous round HDC. Fasten Off

Sew in ends Sew on button for Buckle

Bows R1 - Chain 7, 1 SC in 1st chain from the hook, 1 SC in next 5

R2-R20 - Ch1 turn 1 SC in each (6)

Fasten Off.

Fold ends to meet at the centre and sew them together.

Wrap yarn around the centre of the bow to create a crease, leave a long tail for sewing.

Add fabric glue to the front of the bow and sprinkle the sequence over making sure to cover the whole bow.

Let dry over night

Once dry wrap your yarn over the front of the bow to create two lines.

Sew Bows to the shoe with a tapestry needle.

Repeat pattern to make a pair, bearing in mind that the buckles will have to be done on the opposite side.
